Why the Answer Is Pending
Official store pages do not currently list selectable difficulty names or whether they can be changed after starting. Event demos may use settings that differ from retail. At launch, this page will test menu availability, mid-game switching, trophy or achievement effects, accessibility assists, and whether boss behavior or rewards change.
Platform differences will be documented separately if the menus do not match.
